Hashtag Interactive amps up the awesomeness in midyear hustle

July 2022, Singapore — They say that three’s a party — and between new major clients, an ongoing large-scale project, and renewed accounts, Hashtag Interactive is taking awesomeness to the third degree. 

Connecting communities from the other side of the screen

When used correctly, social media can unite people for a greater cause. And now, we have the perfect opportunity as the Agency of Integrated Care (AIC) has appointed Hashtag Interactive for content creation and social media management

Through the span of the one-year retainer, Hashtag will manage five different platforms owned by AIC, to reach out to seniors, caregivers, and community care professionals.

Among the different platforms, Hashtag will also manage the Silver Generation Office (SGO) social media pages, which serves as the main driver for leading potential volunteers to AIC.

AIC has also tasked Hashtag Interactive to create an engagement strategy for mosAIC, an online platform that provides resources and community-based updates for senior care and happenings on the Community Care sector.

On the other side of the spectrum, Science Centre Singapore has appointed Hashtag Interactive to utilise data-driven communications that will boost local and international brand recall, drive awareness for visitorship, and nurture a love for science in families across Singapore.

Hashtag will also manage the social media pages of kidSTOP™, Science Centre Singapore’s initiative that aims to cultivate children’s innate curiosity towards Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics through interactive exhibits and activities. 

Taking #squadgoals to the next level with Electrolux

In our biggest campaign yet, we joined forces with Electrolux APAC & MEA to launch the Sustainability Squad, a large-scale sustainability campaign that aims to inspire mindful living in homes across the region. 

Comprising 10 different content creators from different countries, the Sustainability Squad will face challenges divided into three main themes: 

1) Eating and kitchen habits 

2) Laundry and dish care

3) Indoor hygiene and health

Throughout the campaign, the Hashtag team will create and manage social media content, curate platform strategies, and conceptualise the Squad’s itinerary for their sustainability journey.  

Since the start of our retainer in 2020, our work with Electrolux has greatly expanded in scope. Initially, the premium home appliance brand appointed us to strategise and execute its social media content hub for APAC & MEA. But eventually, we were delegated social media planning and community management for the Singapore, Malaysia and India. 

Eventually, Hashtag was also appointed as the social media content hub to support the launch of luxury home appliance brand AEG in the APAC & MEA region. The appointment for the social media content hub will be for one year, with the option to extend till 2025. 

Old faces, new work

With the influx of new things going on, we’re also reconnecting with familiar faces as Mandai Wildlife Group reappointed us to produce and manage content for the Ranger Buddies and My Animal Buddy social media pages and websites. 

Meanwhile, IPI Singapore has also chosen Hashtag to manage their main social media channels, as well as digital media buying and planning.

And to top it all off, we’re brewing up more good times with The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, as they extended our contract for social media marketing, digital content creation  and media buying. 

According to Managing Partner Vincent Chin, “In recent years, we’ve seen more clients who opt for cohesive strategies that go beyond their main social media channels. As with Electrolux and our other regular clientele, community management has become a focal point of the services that we offer.” 

He added, “We’re happy things are looking up as we’re recovering from the effects of the pandemic. We’re also humbled that these organisations have trusted us to work with them on their content and platforms.”
