Hashtag Interactive named finalist at the 15th Annual Shorty Awards‍‍‍ ‍

SINGAPORE, APRIL 24, 2023 – Hey, Shorty, we’ve got our eyes on you: Hashtag Interactive is in the running as a finalist for the 15th Annual Shorty Awards for Electrolux Sustainability Squad in the Regional Campaign Category. 

The Shorty Awards honour the best work in digital and social media by the most creative and influential brands, agencies, organizations, and individuals for their creativity, strategy, and effectiveness. With 32% more total entries compared to the previous record high for submissions, the pressure’s on for Hashtag Interactive to stand out among the crowd.

As our boldest social initiative yet, the Electrolux Sustainability Squad led Hashtag Interactive to many firsts: Namely, curating our first wide-scale influencer marketing campaign, organising three consecutive virtual events, and creating interactive microsites for each event theme. Aside from being a top contender for the Regional Campaign, our work is also eligible for competing in the Audience Honor — a separate award voted by the public between April 12th to April 26th.

“Being a finalist is already an honour. But, not going to lie, we want the recognition of winning this award — especially since this is a project that our team closely identifies with. Environmental sustainability should be everyone’s responsibility and this is one of the ways by which we want to spread the message,” said Mina Sunico-Chin, Managing Partner, Hashtag Interactive. 

The 15th Annual Shorty Awards winners will be announced at the in-person celebration on 24 May 2023, at Tribeca 360º in New York City.

The winners and honorees are chosen by the Real Time Academy (RTA) — a panel of prominent experts and leaders in digital and social media who have been selected for their deep industry knowledge, professional reputation, and outstanding achievements, including previous Shorty wins.
