The Brief
As Singapore works towards its net-zero emissions goal by 2050, the Energy Market Authority (EMA) plays a crucial role in helping the public understand the country’s energy transition. The challenge was to make complex topics, from the Four Switches to the energy trilemma, accessible and relevant to everyday Singaporeans, while encouraging energy conservation.
How We Made Energy Easy to Engage With
We broke down Singapore’s energy transition and the trade-offs involved in securing reliable, affordable and sustainable energy through social-first content, including easy-to-digest infographics, explainer videos and engaging formats. Beyond education, we also encouraged active audience participation through contests and interactive content. This helped make EMA’s social channels not just a source of information, but a space where Singaporeans could engage with and better understand the energy choices shaping our future.
Powering Change, One Post at a Time
We grew EMA’s following and engagement across platforms while helping more Singaporeans understand the energy transition and the choices behind it. More importantly, we sparked greater awareness of how everyone can play a part in conserving energy.
